Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski are screenwriter/producers best known for creating postmodern biopics with larger-than-life characters. They coined the term "anti-biopic" to describe the genre they invented: Movies about people who don't deserve one. They are uninterested in the traditional "great man" story, focusing instead on obscure strivers in American pop culture. Among their numerous credits, these are the films most admired by critic Roger Ebert: “Ed Wood,” “The People vs Larry Flynt,” “Man on the Moon.”  More recent projects include “Big Eyes,” “Dolemite is My Name,” and the acclaimed miniseries “The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.”  The team has won numerous honors for their work, including Emmys, Golden Globes, PGA and WGA awards.
